Gun/Revolver experts, help needed!

I have a resin cast of a prop gun (Early's pistol from Firefly). It's impossible to tell what the original gun was, but it clearly has a revolver butt with Pachmayr grips. I want to add real grips, but I don't know how to identify the frame size to get the right grips. All I know is that it isn't 'J' (too small). Could anyone ID it from measurements?

Any idead?

Pachmayr 'gripper' grips all look virtually identical, the problem is the size. It may not even be a S&W, it could be a Taurus, Colt, or Ruger, which don't seem to use the standard frame sizes shown above. Oh well

Are you sure they're Pachmayr grips? Most the the ones I've seen have the "P" logo/medallion on both sides of the grips.

I have a small batch of similar grips--no idea what some of them are supposed to fit, but if you want to send me some measurements and hi-res pics I may have a set that would work.

Yeah, they are Pachmayr, the casting were poor, and the logo has actually been sanded off. What I really need is a website that actually gives the frame dimensions for various models.

Checked my stash, and it looks like the metal medallian isn't a sure sign--I have 3 pairs that are Pachmayrs and no logo at all. :lol

The grips I have that look the closest in shape are fron the "Gripper' series (no medallion), and are for a S&W "K" frame round butt. I've added my grips' (rough) dimensions onto your earlier pic--if they seem to be about right that ought to narrow it down.

edit - my grips are 3 cm thick at the widest part, the palm swell in the middle
