Haha!! SAMES!!Saw it last night and... *sniff*...*sniff* it was just beautiful. Went home and hugged my cats extra hard for some reason.
I LOVE this! Can't believe there are folks complaining that Groot talked at the end of the film
Groot talking was for you,.....it means that You, like Gamora can now understand him, You are part of the Guardians family

There were just 2 end credit scenes with images from the fist 2 movies and the Holiday Special sprinkled throughout the credits. How many end credits were there and what were they? I know spoilers but, I don't care about knowing. So, if someone were to share I would really appreciate it. Thanks
And I was going to see it yesterday but my cats really sick, like a trip to vet Monday and one this morning sick. So, I appreciate the heads up on the warning about that in advance.

I saw it! (replied to it too, but JG gets so many tweets he'll never see it.)I came home & felt guilty leaving my dog Doug on his own while seeing the film with my family @ JOATRASH FX
Glad you had the same experience as me
Also, did you see Gunn’s May4th message?

Interestingly, the songs worked better on my second viewing!(But they don't beat out Vol 1 or 2. Neither does the score, because the track titled "Dad" in Vol2 is hard to beat.)Yeah, the music didn't grab me as much as the other films either. Even the score didn't use the Guardians theme nearly enough, which I was bummed about. Still, some wicked needle drops though. Adam Warlock flying through space to Crazy On You and that No Sleep Till Brooklyn sequence in particular.
Can't wait to see it again, my daughter who had seen all MCU up to & including Black Widow & was disappointed with BW & had vowed never to see another Marvel film has agreed go with me & my son to see GOTG 3...she trusts me!!!I saw it! (replied to it too, but JG gets so many tweets he'll never see it.)
Just got back from my second viewing. Man, it was, if possible, emotionally harder to watch this time around.
Rocket's scream in that scene cut right through me.
No film is 'perfect' but this is one of the most beautiful pieces of cinema that I've ever seen (and not just visually).
Just saw a couple of tweets from Gunn that addressed the items... He said the first one was left in his desk on Knowhere, due to the haste in which he had to leave. The second he said, were unwieldy & were replaced by Peter after the first film with the packs that Rocket invented.Only real disappointment is Star-Lord never wore his helmet, or got a more comic accurate one to go with his new suit for that matter. What the heck? And what happened to his boot rockets? Those would have been handy during a certain scene near the end.
Yeah, I saw that today. Not necessarily convinced that isn't just some BS he whipped up to explain away this pesky question people keep asking him haha, but whatever I'll buy it. Either way, it's such a practical piece of gear for Peter I find it impossible to believe he doesn't have another one somewhere. Just odd he wouldn't have a spare on The Bowie..? Seems like he just omitted it from Vol. 3 specifically to have the dramatic scene at the end.Just saw a couple of tweets from Gunn that addressed the items... I didn't notice any of it in his apartment, but I did catch his old tape deck from The Milano is mounted above his bed!sounds a little weak sauce. At least mention it. “Damn I forgot my helmet.” Was his gear visible on Knowhere?
