graflex clamp help

Ok, so i want to replace my lever with a custom made thumbscrew. Does anyone know the length of the screw that goes thru the clamp pieces?
And what threading it is?

5/40 screw, 1.5 inch I believe.

I have some, brass though, from a Luke ESB project years ago.
