Unlimited Run GOTG Star Lord Rocket launch buttons. - Mag mounted

All unfinished kits have shipped out! Within the US, you should be receiving them within the next few days. Out of the US, it will be a bit longer, but probably within a week or so.

I will be finishing up the first few sets of buttons tonight and begin shipping finished kits tomorrow.

Sweet! Thanks for the update.

IronManiac just let me know that all the unfinished kits have been mailed. Domestic bound buttons went out on Saturday and International went out today.
We found out that the USPS apparently has a problem with shipping magnetic objects but IronManiac's quick thinking found a way around that!

Those of you in the USA should be getting them in the next few days if you haven't already. International postage could take a little longer for obvious reasons however in my experience parcels to Canada don't take very long.

He is working on finishing up the paint job on the finished sets so that they should go out soon, I still think you should still get them in time for Halloween barring any weird issue with the postal service.

Hey guys, like Daniel Nelms said, if you ordered an unfinished kit, you should be receiving it very soon.

There's one thing about the patches that I wanted to make very clear. You probably noticed in my install write-up, I placed a towel over my patch when I ironed it to the pants.

**WARNING** DO NOT APPLY A HOT IRON DIRECTLY TO THE PATCHES! THIS WILL DESTROY THEM! Also, use MEDIUM HEAT on the patches!

The patches are made of a plastic that has been made fibrous and molded into a mesh. That's why it doesn't fray around the edges and can have the open weave which contributes to the accurate look. But if you put an iron on it, you will destroy the patches!

The simple solution is to put a washcloth or towel on top of the patch when you iron it to your pants. Once applied, the patches will hold up fine in the washing machine and dryer. I would recommend turning your pants inside our when you wash them, just to keep the patches from wearing out too fast, but if you've done a lot of mods to your pants, it's probably a good idea to turn them inside out anyway. and it should go without saying, but if you press your pants after the laundry, you STILL CANT PUT AN IRON ON THEM! Again, put a towel on top to protect them from the heat of the iron.

I've started leaving feedback for those of you who have purchased. Apparently I can only do three per day so this might take awhile ;)

Thank you Daniel. Payment sent earlier on FYI. Star Lord is starting to come alive so to speak from these small details!! Cannot wait to show my son all these goodies.

So I've decided, that I'm going to do what IronManiac did and build my pants from scratch. I have a pair of motorcycle pants that will work for my birthday party this weekend and for halloween, but I'm going to save my rocket pads for the pants I make. Motorcycle pants are way too baggy for this costume, even though theyre practical and waterproof, I think that a nice pair of slim work pants with the stuff added on to them will look just as amazing as IM's

Update on finished sets, all but one of the first set of 10 is in the mail now. The last one will be finished/mailed this weekend. Then IronManiac will start working on those who are on the waitlist. I am going to change that from "wait list" to "second run" of finished sets.
