I worked some more on the sculpt tonight:

I'm planning to shorten and close the mouth - then add ears.

Also, I wanted to share some updates to the eyes.

Here are the acrylic eyes I'll be using:

You can see the threaded hole in the back that will be used for mounting the eyes to the gimbal mechanism.

Here are some RC car half shaft universal joints which will allow the eyes to move in all directions:

I'm planning to control eye movement with servos running with arduino.
