Been building these King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard skull shrine/alters and just thought id share.
3D printed the shrine then applied a thin layer of spot putty using my fingers to smoothen the print out a bit.
Hit it lightly with a scotchbrite then painted on a thick layer of rub-N-buff(antique gold). Applied a heavy wash of burnt umber
then highlighted with rub-N-buff(gold leaf).
The base is butcher block remnant. spray glued some felt to it then liquid nailed (overkill) the shrine to insure they will never be parted.
these are pictures of the first shrine so its a bit crude, I'm planning on making a quick build video ill post soon.
