Well another busy day in the shop, just about there other than the switches and battery compartment. Just about have her plasma gun finished still have some shaping to do, So here it is attached less shaping. Amie is Here! and about armed. Thanks and Enjoy

Well she just about has a plasma gun with rockets, still a bit to go on this detail work and painting, I think it looks cool getting close. I am still thinking on this battery compartment, I kind a got to make 2 one will be removable to access the battery, in doing this it will allow you to remove her head. I will be making a stand for her head to post up on. but why would you want to take her head off for to display. I seem to sometimes over think things, I would rather display the whole robot rite. Alrighty then man, I wasn't happy with her arm movement so I took them off and fixed the problem with a round piece of flat rubber. Buy doing this it made her more posable and her movement is tight. So after that things got crazy I took her and cut some more from her torso which looks better pic here of amount removed, I then went in paint mode so now her plasma gun is now complete. I am now please that she holds her stance and pose very well. Next comes battery compartment. Amie is Here! Thanks and Enjoy

Well looks like I will be concepting up a pair of battery boxes but only one will contain the battery and switches, I guess I will see what will work on a removeable set up then do some taring up Back to the shop in the morning and do just that. she is Here! Thanks

Well, nothing at all done today, even as the day is still new. So here is the news I am going to be poppa once again so we seem to be watching our 3 year old till the new fella gets here so my day has been grandson loving and it did give me eyes a much need break, I don't know what tomorrow holds we shall see. This will give me a bit of concepting time think how these parts will look and one will have to be easy to get to for battery exchange. She uses a 9V battery this operates all her leds. Wow missed a day on here, Yes Thanks George, they both are doing fine, Yep he is a cutie, ready to be spoiled. Okay Man a 3 year old can keep ya hopping, So I have been trying to come up with a plan on this battery box. I moved her wire's to her right side they was on the left, the left side just didn't have the space I need, as well as trying to copy one to the other side. So I am going to go with just one box and do a greeble on the left side I have some grey painting and touch up in this spot before I can do the box. I will have to make the box removable to get to the door to open the box. In doing this it will allow for her head to be removable. So in all not much done but gathering parts to make a cool box. here is a pic of the space I will be applying the box or battery holder, and how I moved her wires. Amie is Here! Thanks and Enjoy

Yep George, that is how today has been I have been hopping all over the place, and not really anyplace. Just a bunch of cutting plastic, as well as trying to figure out how this is all going to come out. I do think I have it all figured out now, this box will also have leds, and 2 switches. I might as well add 3 more leds in her battery box. This will add a bit of lights in her torso area, I don't think it would be to much or to busy, this is the first time I thought of that, being to busy. You know you can sometimes over do, and make something really cool but then so much going on and miss the whole concept of what is really there. I will drop 3 leds in place and see how it looks first before proceeding. Well to top it off, I reached for my super glue and it was empty, that put the breaks on everything cause Wifey had the car. I just sat there staring thinking concepting. not much to show for my efforts today but a bunch of parts. I am close to having a box as soon as I can get some glue. Alrighty then, you ever here the term paint yourself into a corner. Well I think I am in that corner now. I like how this box is looking, just not enough room, I can make it work just got to think it through. I would like to have the leds in there its not to busy, this was the first thing I checked once I had the leds ready to fire. So I kind a got a box going, I just need to make it fit with out losing the detail of the piece, which will still need the detail element. Well as you can see all my creative clutter around, man I got to do a clean up but I never throw any thing away cause it could become something. Fire up the blower and blow out all the dust, which is getting bad. I did come up with some glue, I gathered up all my empty super glue bottles turned them all upside down then poured them all into one, but I will have to make a run to get some. As far as the box it will work out it always does. Back to the shop in the morning get things Hopping. Amie is Here Chilling!!! Thanks

Once again Friends of the modeling world, I spent about 3 hours searching for this one part I had in my hand seems like the day before, and then I found it. A bunch of thinking today on how to get out of that corner. So I might have it figured out I hope, in doing this I will have to make another for the other side, I think it would look better with two only one running leds and battery. Okay in the next to the last pic the thingy thats all clamped up, well that part I spent half a day looking for. I decided to change this all up this part with view of the leds firing is now going to be the battery door a very tricky cut but the door fits perfectly, The battery box is now coming along. The only thing is this is going to make her head non removeable. and bout out of glue creative clutter. Back to the lab in the morning and see if its alive. Amie is Here!!!! Chilling close Thanks

After looking at my post, I was thinking one of her eyes looked dim, thought I was going to have to do brain surgery on her again but it was just the way I was standing, her eyes are the same. Thanks

Thanks a bunch George, I like the effect as well. I now have her head on the bench, and I am going to check her eyes, just to make sure they are even, I really hope they didn't shift when I found her trying to get up, so her head was just laying there in the floor, now on the bench cross your fingers. I got a bunch done today up un till grandson time. yep the new baby is a darling and so tiny. Okay had to do some reconcepting on this box to make it work, which will make her head removable. Well okay got a bit done now for some soldering, i will have to make a dummy one for the other side might still thinking on it, I don't want her to be not balanced or off sided. I also did a bit more which I will share in the next post which will be rite after this post. Okay Guys here is a bit of more done in the shop today, Well here you go Chloe is coming close, which will be the next thread. Yep been busy when thinking about a concept I got to stay busy so Chloe is coming close and Amie is looking at her close on the bench. This is a bit of a preview of Chloe on the bench Coming close. Also you see another tidbit coming along, yep another hydro in the series I am doing once I have a few I will share a pic but as I work along keep a eye out on the bench no telling what you might see getting made. Well okay modeling friends, I had many problems today, wiring gone bad and I did it all right. And George sad to say I lost 3 LED lights one brain one battery box and the other was her right EYE DANG MAN, I took a long walk after that, I didn't want to lose any more so I had to lose one switch. As I looked at her Led lights firing her left eye is starting to flicker so it might be slowly going as well, very upset I examined every aspect of trying to fix this but its just way past the point of that happening. So looking at her with her eyes off I think she has some cool eyes still, before her left eye started to flicker I thought about some battle damage to her eye that was out but then her other eye started to flicker I decided against the damage. What a day there are a bunch of stuff I will do different on Chloe she is coming close. So here is the mess as it happened Amie is Here!!!!!! Chloe is coming! close Thanks and Enjoy

Yep in the last pic her eye was all ready dim I will see what her eye will do I think I will just leave this alone I've done lost 3 LEDS, so this box needs some detail work and in the mess I forgot once again to get glue. Yes George I'm pushing on, And Analyzer your rite, you know George had just mentioned how cool her eyes made the project. So more bummer her other eye is gone as well I knew it would the way it flickered. Well with that being said I got to keep going, yep George you are rite. I still think her eyes are cool looking and here are some pics from today and of her pretty eyes, also got a bit of detail work in just kind a just took a step back till just a bit ago, I did look in to some brain work, but no cause I could see Chloe out of the corner of my eye. So speaking of such my eye appointment was pressure is very bad and procedure must happen next month, it will be alright. anyways and yes I did get me some glue Amie is Here!!!!!!! close Chloe is coming! close Thanks and Enjoy

Well Amie has lost her head over all this....Yep she still has some cool eyes its that glaze it has and the deep blue crystal looks cool as well. Lot more detail work to do on this part now that I have me some glue. Amie is close to being finished, her brain works great knock on wood. It's getting close to Halloween we will see.......Yep i will do a bunch of internal detail on the box part that has the mesh, as well as the out side box area. Well what a day in the shop, and Thank you very much George I think things will be alright, So in the shop I got to thinking LED so the thinking goes like this a LED has back shine this is how the back of her battery box is light. With that being said I looked into her brain from under and I could see her light tubes, I pushed five LEDS into one tube and was only able to get four in the other then did a test and guess what we have her eyes back. Yep they are a bit softer than before but they are back and the element is back George. I will have to build another battery box this one will use 2 AA battery's but all this will work I did a bunch today so here is the progress and the LED feature is back Amie is Here!!!!!!!! close Chloe is coming! close Thanks and Enjoy

Well got some detail work done today as well still got a bunch more on this to get done and building a second battery box for her eyes thank goodness they are working again I don't know what made me think of that I am very happy with the progress from today also some tidbit work done as well just look around and see. Yes a total new battery box being built I'm not to sure about it ATM but we shall see where it goes, Back to the shop in the morning and Thank You Once again George for your thoughts, Yep I need my eyes. My eye Dr. is into all this kind of stuff as well and I introduced him to the RPF as well. He said he wants to keep me doing what I do, I have been seeing him for some time now many projects under the belt and he has seen them all and they are all here on The RPF Amie is Here!!!!!!!!
