Girl Robot Prop full size

Okay, been thinking about this model I've been wanting to build. I have been getting parts odd and ends and I will share some cool parts of this as I build starting with the head, also as you know I am a quick builder I don't know why but seems how it turns out. I will be sharing pics here very soon Oh this robots name is Amy but I might spell it Amie which spelling seems more robotic get ready she is coming Thanks

Okay ,cool That is how I will spell her name. friend I like that thanks I have a few pics but I am having problems getting them to download onto my computer. As said starting with the head I picked up a wig head at a thrift store back before everything got shut down, well I turned around and asked the price of it and this girl said two dollars buy one get one free and I could tell the girl had some disabled so i asked her her name and she said Amy so there for the name of the robot Amie I have a friend coming by to help me with this down load then I can show a bunch of progress shes looking cool the wig head has this rubber like face which is turning out very cool pics coming soon Thanks for looking

I've been waiting almost 20 or so years for someone to come on here and announce they were making a girl robot. I'm more surprised it took that long.

Yep I've been putting parts aside for some time, I can't wait for you guys to get to see how the head is progressing. I have to buy a small sd card for my phone before I can down load and that will happen pay day, then my friends you will see the head in the making , her eyes are cut out on the face and I replaced them with two 1 inch deep blue clear crystal balls and that gives her some super cool looking robotic eyes which I am wire some 5mm leds this will give her eyes a blue glow sorry guys pics are coming just got to get this sd card Amie is really going to be cool android robot prop

Okay Guys and Gals here is kinda where I am on the head well once I started this build I had to get this card to down load and I have been busy so here is a look at more okay this is where I am making her neck and she will be moveable also a light test light test works good so on with the rest Amie is coming more happening Thanks

Seems like when I get busy it all comes out and now I have more in my head after sitting and studying this part I will think on it for a bit then back to the shop in the morning and tare something else up as said Amie is coming Thanks

Okay full day in the shop, today I worked on filling her head in with lots of greebles and some circuit board bits and cuts to fill in her brain, I even hooked up some 3mm leds to bring her brain alive and lots of painting, so I build fairly quick and I will break this down into about 3 post so get ready and enjoy Amie is coming Thanks

Okay guys hope you guys are enjoying Amie coming alive well as I was working on her head I was in search of a main part and with luck I have found the part I needed her core so this place had two I bought one then went back and made a down payment on the other so once this project is completed I am going to cut and build a refined one and her name is going to be Chloe is the l before the h not sure so I cut this core or say torso after cutting it I placed it with the head and neck to give me a view of how to continue so here you go Amie is coming and by the way Taz cover your eyes LOL

Well guys what do you think of Amie this far, I still had lots to do so I started on building her shoulders, I Think I am going to use a ball socket joint to make her to where you can move her around into diff. positions I also cut the shoulder blades and am attaching them as well. and made some small pistons just for detail, and other greeble detail added. .....WOW!!

What to think of this build? Good question...

It's the most peculiar and yet one of the coolest projects I have ever come across thusfar.Like I said: very Dragonball Z-ish and yet reminds me of Battle Angel Alita as well.

To me it has this eerie vibe about it as we actually factually move into the era of A.I. (Japan especially with its robotics) , and yet it is this mixture of different materials that makes this build incredible.

I don't know how to describe my experience exactly, but there's something appealing about it.I'm surprised very few people liked or replied so far.Grant Imahara would love this stuff and probably throw in some ideas of his own at that.

Thanks a lot for you comment, it means a bunch. I want this to be robotic and be kinda appealing that can sometimes be hard and here is something I am kinda stuck atm on and yet it is right there but still can't wrap my head around, its the arms and legs I have been thinking on I want them to be sleek and not to mechanical but yet a mix of both still thinking on this one. Well I have been busy adding detail and some other goodies Amie is coming let me know any ideals and thoughts on this I mean I do tend to go a bit quick and need to slow my roll arms and legs are in thought process and yes I've watched that movie Alita a few times and can watch it again its cool Here we go Enjoy Thanks

Well I have hip parts cut to build the pelvic but I had to do some major cleaning of the shop had to much creative clutter after that is when I built all the shoulder pistons and a small bit of painting well next day another busy one on the charts Amie is coming Thanks George for your comments and any ideals would be gladly excepted bout all that's left LoL is the pelvic and arms hands and feet and legs WOW! that still a bunch of building Thanks
