Gino ANH Helmet...cast from the original?

If I may put this in perspective...unless the helmet was lifted directly off David Prowse head after production wrapped, is it still just a copy?
Just a thought.

Crap on a stick! Gino recast my Vader bucket!
Tell ya what G, send me one of your crappy ol', not screen accurate, highly controversial Vader suits and we'll call it even.

Wes

Of course the harsh reality of it all is that the ROTS Helmet looks better with all it's symmetrical goodness anyway.

::ducks for cover::

The thread is totally deserved due to such claims made, however the timing was wrong Thomas. The answer to everything will be that your "Jealous" :rolleyes.

If people believe Gino's claims than you really have been fooled.

I hate to even respond to this thread because it is obviously exactly what some have already stated; a trolling thread born out of jealously.

You're right SithLord, Gino's helmet couldnt possibly have come from an authentic source because..... wait, why again? Because it doesnt have "the look" in your opinion? Wow. We can take that one to the bank.

And while we're at it. Isnt this your comparison?

For those who dont know, this is a comparison which was posted over at the prop den several months ago. It compares details on the VP faceplate to the Gino faceplate. The VP is undisputed in its authenticity btw.

So where exactly are these glaring discrepancies from authentic casts that the Gino faceplate has? I keep on hearing about them but nobody's saying what they are.

And another reason that this whole thing is a load of bull is that I notice there is no discussion going on over at the prop den about this. If you troublemakers were truly intent on informing the poor naive public about the lies we have been told I'm sure that there would have been a topic made about it where you all compare the details and involved everyone in an intelligent debate which would have been quickly debunked by the staggering amount of proof for, vs the fuzzy amount of proof against.
This was only posted over here because Gino wouldnt have been able to see it on the prop den.

Mods?

Good find, Davy. I was having a hard time recalling in which of the myriad of same threads over there, that this comparison was posted in. As far as your other comment about someone claiming "blaring detail omissions...every time someone says something like this, they NEVER back it up.

As far as I am concerned, GINO's Vader has some serious provenance behind it. As Davy said, we KNOW the VP has history behind it, and that is not even a topic of discussion here. So, once more, Thomas gives us a flawed comparison. Good job, Thomas. Get your next dogpile primed and ready.

Well looking over these comparisons I not only see the circled matches and many other reference points to match, if they do not have lineage I'll be a monkey's uncle or someone spend a great deal of time reproducing minute dimples and details...

SHENANIGANS! I CALL SHENANIGANS! Davys Jones, Qui-Gonzalez, exoray, and Darth Detroit, don't you dare try to blind us with your logic, reason, and sensibility! Clear "proof" was shown in the first post by someone with no grudges, jealousy or ax to grind. How dare you come in here and try to muddy the waters with pics showing similarities? It has already been established, from the top of the mountain, that Gino's helmet lacks all kinds of authenticating details. I call for the mods to forcibly remove Davy's photos showing otherwise on the grounds that it completely crushes and invalidates the first post in this thread!!!:lol:lol:lol

I just want to know if I should grab the dirt and holy water and declare this thread DEAD.

DD, how could you possibly have found MORE similarities, since the omissions are so "blaringly" obvious??
