Giant 31" Darth Vader figure

Did you just use the old cape as a pattern? Or did you come up with a different one?
It may not be correct, but I may do a cape more over and around the shoulders more style.

Yeah, how are they selling these things so cheap? I've got 12" figures that cost triple that or more-- and are no better.

Re all the pm's asking for mesh and cape material - I don't have any left and wasn't selling it when I did!

Both items should be easy enough for you guys to source locally though, best place for the mesh is hardware/DIY shops and all good fabric shops will sell black felt.

Inspired by ob1al's stellar work on this, i picked one up and today decided to take a screw driver to it, to see if i can make it more....OT.....anyhoo.....DID YOU KNOW.......the back of the chest box has molded sections for lights and a speaker!!!! This was supposed to be a deluxe figure!!! Then they just cheaped out.....sigh....

Sorry no pics as my camera is at the repair guys.....

...my son just loaned me his camera....but, surprise, surprise, it's out of charge!

Just saw one at a TRU´s over here in Germany, and it has sound fx, but no lights. Does that mean your versions don´t have sound fx?

Costco in Canada I found the exact same 31" Darth Vader but this one talks when you press the button on his chest & has an extra hand with full light sabre.
It is only $30

Would love 2 add better capes & an led in the saber.
