I hope others feel inspired to put their passion into this. This Forum has changed my life.
I have never put so much energy (and sweat) into anything. It was all worth it.

I'm gonna do a fanfilm trailer this weekend. Rain or Shine. Hopefully the location is still good. My friend and I used it for a Zombie short film and now its under construction. We're going for a "Concrete Jungle" Theme

Seriously, and I do not exaggerate, this is the BEST Predator suit I've EVER seen put together! And I've been lurking around on here for a couple of years! Awesome, awesome, awesome work and even better dedication, Mike!
PS - I hate to be a nuisance at all, but I'd LOVE to see a pic of the suit with the bio-helmet on there? Even just on the dummy, if you've already got one? Don't go out of your way to take one or anything, though.

Working on it. Tried to put on a Bonehunter Bio but the dummy head couldn't support the weight.
So I gotta make a lighter Bio today and put it on. So Expect another series of photo with the Bio

Here are some pics of stuff I did the night before the ChinaJoy Con that I didn't have time to load up.
Here they are
This is a Neck Ring I sculpted the night before the ChinaJoy Con.
I made the mold like 5pm, started casting the part in latex with fans and lamp heater until 3 am. Then woke up 6am and still not dry and heated the damn thing till 8am.
9 am spray painted it black quick and load it up on the truck.
This is a Dual Mini CPU Fan system designed to circulate air into the Helmet and into my face. It draws air from holes drilled on the side chins of the Bio Helmet.
The wire would go out of the helmet and into a 3 AA Battery pack hidden as part of my costume.
How did it perform?
Well It was so damn hot in the helmet that I didn't feel a thing. But I tell you this, I did wear the helmet with and without the fan on and there was a difference.
Without the fan the helmet lenses fogged up and I couldn't see a damn thing. And it did feel more humid and muggy.
So Yeah there is a difference even though I didn't "feel" the air blowing.

The neck ring came out pretty good. I already molded it last week and made another casting.
I am trying to make a thicker casting. Now I am mixing the old synthetic latex and real latex. The real stuff gives it elasticity

Well now that your suit is finished hopefully you will be able to make it to SDCC next year if funds are in your favor my friend

Yeah Mounted the Neck ring to the statue. Looks much better on him since he's got better neck proportions than I do LOL
Anyway its cast out of latex and sprayed painted black to keep it simple.

The mold cracked in some air pockets. Didn't make the mold really good cuz I rushed it a day before the Con.
Anyway I will most likely sculpt another one. This one is a bit big anyway.
