so, we've now seen every major trailer wanted, EXCEPT Ghostbusters.

even ID4 2 came out today. bad sign? lol

we still have acouple more days before ep7 comes out... i wouldnt be surprised if we get a GB trailer this week

in other good news of the day, mike and molly finally cancelled. how that lasted so long i'll never know. fat jokes ho...


and, people seem to think that if the trailer doesn't release early tomorrow..not at all....hmmm.

well, if someone thought bay turtles was brilliant cinema, I guess there is no reason this disaster shouldn't not burst into flame the minute it sees daylight.
Anyone want to bet this is the temple for the babalonian god?

Looks like an art deco panel of a client's building (MIRADO?) designed to be yet one more nod to the original film. It looks a lot like Gozer's temple doors.

I'd be FAR more on board if it was a direct sequel. even if the humor was more of feigs crass style. Sony and Dan should have fought harder for that.

Sony doesn't care about it, and frankly, I don't really think Dan should've been given a free hand with the story.

I dunno. At this point, it's hard to muster much give-a-crap about this anymore.

i'm just annoyed so many of the casuals will make this a success. no one cares about proper process, passing on of ideas to people who care.

Bay Turtles, Feig Busters, JJ Trek. it's all the same flashy nonsense..

here's an interesting conversation I just saw on twitter. Identities removed to protect the innocent...but I wanted your opinions on this..

I'm noticing this alot in ghostbuster conversations with people who WANT to support this movie, either just because it's ghostbusters, or cause they genuinely love the people involved.

So, I can't judge what Paul feig is doing THIS time based on his past work? despite the fact that his past work all has the same footprint? Just like Michael Bay with Transformers, and Ninja Turtles, and countless other directors who have similar track records, like, say, Steven Speilburg?

I may not be the brightest bulb online.....but I feel like I AM allowed to develop opinions on something before it's released. if I don't like the idea, I think I should be able to call it horse crap before it's released. If I don't like the people involved, I feel like I can say so without being witch hunted to death. and, if I'm proven wrong, I will hapilly admit it, and move on to the next film. but more often than not, my pre release judgment proves to be right... at least based on my opinions of experience.

I ALSO find it interesting that the people who support this film also like to bash the bashers, and think that's ok just because people are saying negative crap about something they like. calling them homeless loosers, 'I have no friends so I hate everything' and wahh wahh wahh... somehow it always winds up turning the conversation toward the person making the negative comments, rather than discussing the movie itself. it turns into a psychiatrist discussion.

I'm sorry, but grow the fudge up a little. since when did movie discussion resort to personal insults rather than actually discussing things?

sigh...sorry for the rant...but the way this world works, I just had to say it. it's been bugging me for the past 6 months reading comments on this train wreck.
