alright, they added them to the ghostbusters imdb.

kid already has 50 acting and voice credits, including Fuller House, Young Sheldon, and Captain Marvel (as a younger version of Carol)
Carrie Coon - Carrie Coon - IMDb
Most notable things I see are the Fargo TV show, and Proxima Midnight from Infinity war. There's another show called "The Sinner", but I'm not familiar with it.
Finn Wolfhard - Finn Wolfhard - IMDb
He's had the honor of being saved from his soulless babysitter by the Winchesters, been in IT and ITs sequel, Stranger Things, and is apparently the voice of Pugsley in an upcoming animated adams family flick.
No mention in the entry as to who the characters they play are. though I'd assume mother and children based on the "family" comment.

Carrie Coon was suitably creepy in the second season of “The Sinner.” I could see her playing a character that gets possessed really well.

I'm not familiar with the two female actresses, but I love Finn (Stranger Things die hard fan here) and enjoyed the IT remake. I'm not as dedicated to this series as some are here but I love the original movie and it was one of my favorites growing up.
As long as the story is good and is funny I'm on board. I'll have to rewatch Ghostbusters 2 because I haven't seen it since I was a kid. In fact it's been a number of years since I saw the original.
As long as they make no acknowledgement of that atrocious reboot the tried a few years ago it'll be even better. What a wasted opportunity that was because I really loved that cast but that script was painfully bad. It should have been a sequel and not a reboot. A genuine passing of the torch from the original crew to the new generation. A lot of humor could have been mined from how outdated the tech was in comparison with the new, and subsequently the cast.
I'm curious to see what this new story will bring.

I got a call last week by a friend needing me to work in Calgary for a 2-3 months. I turned him down, i found out an hour later it was GB3
