Ghostbusters: Afterlife

I’ve never downloaded any of those “digital downloads” included in any of my purchases to begin with

The idea that fans would NOT buy this set because of the digital download seems ridiculous to me. That would be self defeating and accomplish nothing. I think people are blowing up 2 tweets from the guy as clickbait, much ado about nothing.

Don’t you need wifi for it?
Once you redeem the code, the service you use to watch the movie will allow you to download it to you devices. Then you can watch them whenever or wherever. I use both VUDU & MOVIES ANYWHERE, only because some studios don't have agreements with MOVIES ANYWHERE. For example, I own all 3 John Wick films, but they don't show up in my MA library, only in VUDU.

Hope that helps.

Well got to watch it finally. It only got engaging to me in the last 15 minutes, up until then not so much. Most of the characters we're not interesting or very entertaining to me, just sort of there, and that podcast kid was annoying as hell that didn't help but at least he was able to elicit an emotion from me. LOL
I was hoping Gozer would accept his sacrifice.
Some stuff that happened just sort of made me think this was a movie for kids because it was a stretch things would happen that way, even if it's a fantasy ghost movie. Wife and I maybe laughed twice at the humor attempts.
Honestly knowing the boys were back at some point was the only thing that kept me going. I didn't buy that Ray would not have believed Egon for a second. If they do make another I think it is set up much better to do so though. Fresh plot then, this was very much rehashing the first film too much for my tastes.

It's slightly amusing that they didn't include the 2016 reboot in the Ultimate Edition. Understandable though. Very much looking forward to this as well!

Really excited to see that rough cut GB1 and the GB2 deleted scenes
Clearer shots of Louis trying to catch slimer from gb2 has always been something I wanted to see finished

Back in the late 90s there was internet rumors in the chat rooms about Louis chasing him around trying to catch him. Setting boobie traps..

Later on in highschool is when I saw a photo online of Louis in the fire house wearing the pack.. couldn’t believe it was true

Apparently a lot of it is on youtube:

Yeah I should have mentioned when the dvd or bluray came out with it I was in my glory

I still think there is one scene that hasn’t been shown, Louis hangs a kfc chicken leg over a ghost trap, and slimer comes up through the floor throughs the trap, bites the leg and is over the trap

I’ve seen pictures of the slimer over the trap, this was back in the early 2000s I don’t think they faked it

But I’ve never seen that scene only 1 picture of it

You know, I like to think that the "one employee" Winston stated he started with for his company in the closing scene was Louis. I mean, he was good at taxes as we've heard him mention in the first film, and served as an accountant for the guys in the second film. Logically, Winston taking him as his first employee for his new start up would make sense due to his experiences in those areas.

I thought it was going to be slimer

Finally saw this. I liked it. Cute movie, but two things stuck out to me:

1) Having Ramis ghost digitally added posthumously is creepy on a whole new level.

2) The movie was cute. It was fun. What it wasn't was particularly funny. It had funny moments, but it was more in the vein of something like Gremlins or Goonies: cute, fun, light hearted, but not really what you would think of as a comedy.

That's not the end of the world, but it's an odd choice, if it was a choice.
