Game of Thrones

I saw a casting call for extras on another site, so it does seem that they are indeed getting ready to introduce Vargo Hoat and his Brave Companions aka the Bloody Mummers. It'll be verrrrry interesting to see how they portray that character. If they do introduce him, they better have a scene where he says "You are my captith Kingthlayer!" :lol

Just freaking brilliant. Loved every minute of it. The Hound/Bronn scene, Tyrion's speech to the men, Hound getting freaked out by the fire, Stannis leading, drunk Cersei, and then Pod to the rescue! YEAH! Oh and loved The Rains of Castamere, too!!

Good episode for everyone involved. I wish they could have included Tyrion's chain but that would have taken a good bit of time to set up. And yeah, including "The Rains of Castamere" - both in the scene with Bronn and the Hound, and over the closing credits - was nicely done.

Edit: the song has been hinted at a couple of times before now:

I have a question -

GRRM has a habit of taking an extremely long time to write this books....So what will happen in the TV show catches up before the other two books are released?

is HBo going to put the show on hold until the final books are done?

Well, the producers have already said they plan to split book 3 into 2 seasons, so that gives GRRM some time. Plus, books 4 and 5 are just as long and involved as 3 is, so they'd most likely have to split those up as well. So, more time there. GRRM has also said that he's filled in the producers on some major plot elements, too. Just in case. ;)

Yeah, definitely one of my favorite episodes so far. Only one more episode left in this season??? Nnnnnnoooooooooooooo!!! I can't wait a whole nother year!

Apparently, the Reeds will be joining the cast next season:

Mance Rayder Will Definitely Be on Game of Thrones Next Season -- Vulture

(Along with Mance Rayder, which is kind of obvious, and the "Queen of Thorns" who should be a fun character. I wonder if Linda Hunt could get away from NCIS: LA for a while...)

Thats some great casting news! Cant wait to see how they end up casting the Reeds. There were some comments on that link that made some great suggestions on casting Mance and the Queen of Thorns. I'd love to see Paul Bettany and Maggie Smith in those roles. If only!

I think Maggie Smith would be an excellent choice for the Queen of Thorns.

Given that he did such an excellent job getting away from his comedic roots on House, I think Hugh Laurie would be a phenomenal Mance Rayder.

Had to post this in here suckers!! me the lads and Aidan Gillen aka Petyr little finger Baelish soaking up the rays down the beach!!!! Absolute gent!! Just thought you guys would like to see

"Oh **** Me" Tyrion has the line of the Season.

Tyrian always has the best lines.

My favorite -

Tyrian- "cut off his manhood and feed it to the goats."
Guard- " there are no goats, half man"
Tyrian- "well, make dooooo"

My other favorite line was from Bronn-

Queen- "you do not fight with honor"
Bronn- *points at the guy he just killed* "he did"

That's awesome! I love Petyr's unabashed sliminess in the show and I've found that often the 'worst' characters are played by the nicest guys. :)

WOW! Just watched the season finale. Think its going to take a few more watchings to really take it all in. Not too impressed with Dany and the House of the Undying sequence, though. Loved Jon Snow and the Night Watch segments. ARGH! What am I going to do with no new GoT until next year?!?!?

Enjoyed the season finale. They sure packed a ton into the episode. Next up Storm of Swords. They may need to split that book up into 2 seasons. It's a ton of material and a great book. Probably my favorite up to this point.
