If you think star wars collectors are tuff, then you haven't delt with lord of the rings collectors! Lol. Those guys are brutal AND relentless.Hey Guys,
Well, there's not much to say except take a deep breath and breathe.
This was the largest project I have ever managed, and the shop was on the other side of the planet. I opened many, many boxes and randomly checked for issues. I found none. It's my understanding that one (1) person was unhappy about the shiny-stamped bottom, and one (1) person received bunny ears a bit bent. Then all hell broke loose!!!
Not sure why the mob-mentality kicked in so fast on FB, but so far everyone here has been happy.
- Scotch bright should work well on the stamped bottom if it's too shiny.
- I used a button-head screw for several reasons. 1) It's a good tell. 2) it makes removal of the bunny ears much easier. 3) the process to "punch" the rivet through may have caused damage. Not sure how Graflex did it way back in the day, but it was a concern for this project.
Like my Mk1... I did NOT make a saber. I made exact replicas of the Real World items... So this was to be my Real Working Flashgun. And it is.![]()
ooh, I like it, I'm January so getting closer.Got my tracking number. End of December order.

Whats the saying these days. Haters gonna hate. Lol
You can buy threaded rivets from someone named Tom Jefferson on the Graflex Addicts FB page. I have one on my 2.0 and they're worth 5$.
I was wondering if anyone could tell me if the bunny ears are held on with a rivet or screw? Thanks!
