Limited Run === G R A F L E X === Flashgun Gen.2 ... now taking PRE-ORDERS!!! New Pics Oct. 5

Re: === G R A F L E X === Flashgun ... now taking PRE-ORDERS!!!

Just a thought would the top half of gen2 fit the bottom and clamp of Gen1.? Would it be possible to buy the top half only? Could there be extra parts available for us that bought the gen1 and would like to upgrade?

i haven’t converted my gen 1 yet but certainly interested in a more accurate version, I’m planning on making an ESB so will be adding grips to the bottom and tape round the clamp so won’t matter if the colours are not perfectly matched....

would like striaght pins, smoother hood and shorter ears as i expect the gen2 will have

It would definitely fit.

However, the best thing to do is sell off the parts you don't need. That's what the people building a Boba Blaster are doing with the MPP... selling off the shroud, clamp, etc. :)

Sorry if this is a duplicate question.

Will you be offering bottom parts or red buttons?

I was very impressed with the first run, sold one of them to get my hand on this new and improved version, cannot wait to get it along with the mpp and start having a go at converting the ESB out of them!

Roman posted early the differences, better bunny years, different stamping on the bottom, the bottom is brushed instead of polished like Gen1. The circle under the glass eye and button are more prudent, very small tweak to the side sockets

Early style Folmer straight pins replacing the later stepped version, no chrome on slide switch or beer tab, and possibly adjusted the angle of bevel on the red button...?

Taking another look at home in higher res the bottom appears to be identical to the gen 1 where the crimp isn't rolled over as much as a vintage. Also, Roman confirmed he made no changes to this area, leaving the partially crimped rim as a tell.

I would love to see a run of vintage-accurate crimped bottoms with no stamping. No stamping would be the obvious tell and it would eliminate the need for a bottom cover plate entirely. :thumbsup
