After ringing things out with a meter seems the bulb IS toast. Getting voltage across the contacts in the bulb socket so it seems all is good on the flash side. Closer inspection of the bulb with magnification I can see the filament is broken :cry Is the bulb fairly standard and readily available or do I need to scour the net looking for one? Anyone have a good source?

I don't know if they are still readily available, but I used to buy replacements at Walmart or a generic dollar store. I've since bought some LED bulbs for my flash. They work great.

Stupid question,but is there some coating to protect the graflex from grease and all that? I just got mine and theres already some hard to wipe off stain type things. Also on my inception the copper(? orange part) already has some fingerprints even after wiping.

Inception? Brass parts?

The nickel finish should hold up if you don't scratch it down to the brass. You should just keep it wiped clean to avoid corrosion. The brass parts will tarnish over time, but if you need to keep it shiny, you can use brass cleaner. Though, that may be more work than it's worth. Depending on which version you're doing, the brass parts will benefit from a little weathering .

I know it's been mentioned previously in regards to the pin socket not lining up properly with the SH blade holder, but I just noticed from the below pic, found online (not mine) that indeed this does occur on a vintage.

Whos clamp card is that? Roys card wont fit in either of my romans graflexes? Also, anyone know why cant i use the space bar while quoting? I had to type this in the url search bar

I am anxious to see if Roy's clamp card fits in my Roman's. I can't wait to get the stuff from Wannawanga. Can anyone tell me how long it takes to receive stuff from him? I ordered on the 9th.

Interesting. I bought a wannawanga conversion kit and the clamp card fits just fine.

Ordered the XII kit from Roman which I'm sure has the sloth furnace card fits like a glove. TBH I need educating, I expected a copper trace not silver solder.

Nice job on the replicas, I have been doing spot the difference and have noticed the bunny ear pin is an allen head bolt, the top part of the bunny ear ring part assembly has a ridge, and I noticed the bottom tube is about 2mm longer than my Graflex inc bottoms, I had some pre-cut grips and noticed they did not fit. I do not own a original folmer bottom so I do not know if they are longer? Can anyone inform me?

Also, would be cool if Romans can sell the folmer pins separate for anyone who wants to upgrade from the other graflex socket pins
