The ebay seller is swampdonkey or a friend etc. of same. The photo in the ebay advert has the "temporary workshop stand" with globs of resin and foam etc. plus paint spills exactly the same as swampdonkey's earlier photo posts in this thread. For example see pic posted by swampdonkey in post number #47 (page 2 of this thread). Exactly the same! Also the subject support stand all globulized and workshop battered, that is in the ebay advert appears in other photos in this thread that were posted by swampdonkey. Look carefully at some of the pics that show the subject support stand holding various heads in different pics. Just a coincidence?...NO way.

Yeah you're right. No coincidence. Noted that an unpainted one was sold end of October and now this one with an uncompleted tongue. Monitor what else the seller sells.

From the one sold in October:

This is a FULL SIZE Alien Warrior head from the film Aliens. It was cast from a refurbished original prop, it is NOT a sideshow recast. This auction is for the raw cast of the cranium and jaw, not a fully prepped and painted prop, though pictures were included to show what a finished head looks like.

The head is cast mineral impregnated urethane resin, and filled with rigid urethane foam.

If you would like a finished head from the original artist, please pm me and I will try to get one made and auctioned in accordance with Ebay rules.

Maybe this is a way to contact him?

This swampdonkey character is highly likely the ebay seller. Contact the seller you guys? I'm just sticky beaking into this thread...I have no deals with swampdonkey. swampdonkey and/or the ebay seller have got to explain. Those alien heads are swampdonkey's... the pics don't lie.

thanks for the heads up guys, this is DEFINATELY marty's ebay account as he has linked me to it before. have emailed him giving 24hrs for an explantion on here and failing that will contact ebay with all the details.

I'm been quietly following this thread because I wanted to buy one when Marty was taking orders again till I saw today's posts. Guys I'm so sorry there is absolutely no reason he should be selling someone's item that is already paid for on EBay. That's just wrong anyway you look at it. BAD BAD Business

there is a chance that the painted head on ebay is my one that i payed for then asked for a refund, which would be legit. what bothers me is the fact that he is well and active enough to be internetting (is that a word) but not answering the numerous emails that myself and others have sent, to explain his situation. im in the uk and dont have any phone details for marty so cant give him a ring.

I feel so duped - Marty and I even spoke about health issues, the fact that my brother has been very seriously ill - was it all BS on his behalf???

Even a line or two explaining all of this - the heads existed, we saw them - I just feel so stupid.

Of course he is choosing not to reply. He's not stupid. Even people on their death bed can easily contact someone via the internet via a helper or by their frail hands. Doubt this guy is so sick or disturbed enough that he has forgotten simple internet etiquette. It is obvious he has chosen to ignore you, regardless if he is unwell...so what. It is plain bad manners. Not too unwell to converse on ebay and eBay's feedback system.
