Full scale SM-33 driod build

I started with the head. As a note, this is all 3d printed in PETG. The 3d parts are only cosmetic. Any parts that have any weight or stress on them will be aluminum.

Your weathering is amazing. Can I ask what your method/process was for the silver in the mouth area. The spatter is so natural.
I use a spong (I'll post a link). You rip off peices of the sponge, dab it in silver paint and tap it around anywhere you want chipping. It's super quick and looks very natural.

 
Yup! Along with his head being motorized and talking, he will also have the little critter in his eye. The critter will be hooked into a small motorized piston, witch will be programmed to randomly pop in and out of his eye socket.
Thats going to be a thing of beauty!
