Fright Night .extended fingers and nails, every vampire has his different looks, crosses, holy water, sunlight, RED EYES for gods sake.
Although I think Farrel will be a really good vampire. He has got the chops and bad ass vibe to do it.

Looks dreadful.
The original Charlie was a monster kid, is the kid in this a monster kid? Doesn't look like it, looks like mister popular to me and as such will loose all sense of relation to us monster kids. Horror films one time intended audience. But I forgot, they don't care about us anymore in Hollywood.

True, but the studio doesn't care. Look at how many great movies were remade. If they studio thinks they can make a few dollars, they'll do it.

It looks pretty good and I'll probably see it in theaters, but what's the deal with the trailer only having half a second of David Tennant? Does he play a major role in the movie, or is he just a cameo/bit part?

Saw this at an advance screening last night. I had a good time actually, surprisingly. David Tennant probably being the main reason I did.

Yep, The big draw for me was Colin Ferral and David Tennant. Though I'm a chick so I dont know what the draw would be for anyone else unless they are there for Tannant


I came away kind of glad it was free but I didnt feel I wasted any time... I do think I probably would have paid in one of those discount theatre type places... where they go after its been out a while and for $5.00 or so. OR it would have been a fun drive in flick. Not sure if I would have paid full 3d price.

A few 3d points were cool but most of it was really meh. Not something that really had to be in 3d at all. But then again maybe had I gone in 2d it would have lost some of the fun.

It was not rated so i dont know how much will change but:

Kind of a spoiler, there are NO boobs and not a huge amount of gore. so if you are going looking for gore and boobs... might want to wait on this one. Missing some stuff from the original as well. Story is not as "good" i guess? And some of the camp is gone. and no werewolf
