Free Guy “Guy” Costume

I was able to find a few more shots of the shoes:

With these images, I was able to identify the sneakers as the Common Projects 2201, also known as the Achilles Low Premium. While I haven’t been able to find the pair in the color from the film, the pair does match in every other respect:

I’m guessing that the white pair (as opposed to the grey or black) was most likely dyed/modified for the film, but until I see detail of that on the screen used pair, I remain hopeful.
The Black opticals are a bit tricky, since while I did find a pair that matches, it didn’t seem to be available during the time of the film’s production:

The pair I found is the Oliver People’s OV5432U, but the earliest mention I could find of them was August 2019.

In any case they are an homage to Michael Caine's Yvan glasses. The originals have a hexagonal set of dots on the sides, the recreations have two. I suspect you are correct in the ID of OP as manufacturer.

Well, sticking with the Deer Stag shoes for the low-level noob gear

Great find on the glasses!

I thought the Gascan was the correct pair?
Anyways, regarding the glasses, they are very hard to find, there’s so many glasses that are so close but just not perfect. Here’s some more screenshots:

There’s a little detail of the outer part of the frame where the hinge meets the corner that appears very rarely it seems.

Regarding the sneakers, I have a couple better shots of them and they do appear to be leather:

Great reference pics. I'll bet those glasses are very expensive frames, if we ever even find an exact match. I'm okay with my cheap conversion job.

(EDIT: I posted this before I saw the newer posts, specifically the shoes and the glasses being identified)

I got my shoes, though I ordered them before I saw that close-up pic showing they're leather. It almost looks like they were painted, seems like there's some cracking and possibly peeling happening. Maybe those are stuntman shoes too, could be slightly different.

At any rate, the shoes I ordered are these beige "Alpine Swiss" jobs off of Amazon (as I previously posted) with a soft suede feel and perforated toes and sides:

So, not totally accurate, but for $25, pretty good. I haven't decided if I'll try to remove or paint the white details on the heel section, or leave it alone, but I did buy these beige shoelaces to replace the white ones that came with them:

I went with 45" not knowing exactly how long they would be, but based it on a Nike shoelace guide I saw. The actual white laces are 52", but I usually have to pull my laces tighter which means more excess, so 45" works for me. They're not an exact match, but pretty good. I haven't bought any pants yet, but here's a comparison of the tie, my belt and the shoes with the new laces:

The colors definitely vary a lot. The belt's a little on the yellow side, and the shoes are probably a little darker than in the movie, so I'm not sure how everything will look together. I might try to change the color of the belt somehow, or maybe just order a different one if it's too far off. I could dye the shoes lighter too, or leave them and darken the laces a bit so at least they match better. But honestly, for a Halloween costume where probably most people won't have seen the movie, and probably no one will even look at my feet, it's really only me that will care about the details.

My watch was also delivered:

Not much to say about it, looks as expected.

I have a shirt on the way, so the pants and the namebadge are the only things left - I have tan socks, and any other accessories like the coffee cup or maybe some weapons (didn't want to spoil anything with specifics) would just be extra. So it's mostly down to be how much adjusting I want to do to what I've got to make it all look more accurate.

Did someone say, "coffee cup" ?!?

Anyone have a good shot of the coffee cup, the lettering? I could 3d print then make a pliable mold or stencil

Am I hallucinating the socks have black and tan lines on blue?

EDIT: I am sure anything consumed from the coffee cup will taste like my tongue had a baby with the sunrise!

Booyah! Clear shot of the logo EDIT: Ummm, not like this pic isn't ALL OVER THIS THREAD!

I think it's not so much colored stripes as it's probably how the sock is stitched, like a ribbing or something. This isn't the right sock, but something like this is an example what I'm thinking it could be:

Yes, I was thinking like the pantherella blue sock, but I think the lighting would show the raised or depresses stitching pattern. Also, I still hallucinate tan

There’s another pair of sunglasses that Guy wears, like these from the short montage moment where he takes down a bank robber:

I seem to have found what are either the exact sunglasses or an identical close (likely cheaper) of the glasses in question, although I was not able to find any higher-end frames that looked exactly like this:
C9579497-85A2-46F2-8451-F6C331F1E195.jpeg

They are very inexpensive compared to the other frames (only $38 Canadian) and can be found at this link: Superstar High Quality Sunglass | 2323-gold-brw

Got the shirt I had ordered. I went with this Port Authority brand shirt because I felt the color was more vibrant than the others I'd seen, and the collar and pocket appear accurate to the screen worn shirt. The obvious difference is that the buttons are blue, not white, but I bought a pack of replacements. So it'll be a little extra work, but it'll look pretty close to how the shirt looked onscreen. I could just replace only the collar buttons if I'm lazy, since the tie will cover the shirt front:

Even though it was fairly cheap option, the shirt material is nice. It's thick enough that it's not see-through, and soft to the touch, almost like a microfiber cloth like you use to clean glasses. Fit seems pretty good, though I might alter it a little in the arms so they're a little closer fit, but that's just my preference. I'm planning on washing it first, so we'll see if it shrinks at all.

So, printed a positive and a negative for COFFEE.

Consisering making an aluminum sleeve in orange that I way I can use it with most, standardized medium cups.

I’ve identified Guy’s suede shoes, although I will admit that I overlooked these earlier due to the different laces (which were likely swapped during production):

They are the Cole Haan Feathercraft Grand Blucher Oxford.
