Looking for a Freddy mask kit for a budy of mine that is the spitting image of Robert Englund. We'd like to actually put him in make-up as opposed to a mask, but darn it, I can't find a nice professional kit. Any suggestions? :confused

Yeah, I came across that as well. Suely there must be something better. Right? Money isn't really an issue.

I know costume shops sell a temporary tooth paint that you can use to make your teeth all funky and gross. Definitely a better way to go than fake teeth. As far as the prosthetic goes, your best bets are probably going to be doing a full head cast of your friend to scuplt the burnt flesh on to get a good prosthetic cast (not a bad idea since we all know how often we've wished for our own head cast). Alternatively would be to sculpt the prosthetic on the go with a gelatin. Gelatin is the cheapest way to do a good, realistic looking prosthetic, and you can do it right on the subject.

If you go with a mask, you can cut it up & glue pieces with spirit make-up glue just like they do with Robert Englund's make-up. Then, use thin layers of latex to blend it in to your Friend's face. If you watch one of those behind the scene footage you'll see what I mean. Freddy vs. Jason dvd set has a good segment on Freddy's make up.
