Hi, Frostrubin. Any updates on your build? I love what you have done so far.

Btw, what is the thickness of your ship? I am trying to figure that out from TV stills. It looks like the thickness to ship height ratio is about 1:30. This makes the ship very slim. Am I off? Your 3D model looks very well proportioned, so I am wondering what your model ratio is.

And making blue color paint test. Try to get some kind of texture/depth into the color.

Next is to add some kind of paneling...

Thanks, Frostrubin about the dimensions. Your buid is going really well. This model is going to lit up so well

Great modeling!
Always impressed at what can be accomplished.
I am going to try to build the emperor's ship.
Only on a smaller scale.
Any pointers?

Thanks. Start with the circle part in the middle with the sleeping chambers. It helps to get the proportions right.

Looks great! I would absolutely go with a base over a wall mount because the ship looks so strikingly different from different angles, and I think that would be best shown off with a base. My $0.09 (adjusted for inflation).
