FOUND: Yet another Enterprise case

I bought the lamps from the Star Trek: Enterprise episode "Strange New World" and they came in a case; the same type that was used throughout the series. These cases are readily available (in a variety of sizes) on ebay and elsewhere. They are Hardigg cases and the ones on the show always had the butterfly latches. Here is mine (please ignore the bolt and washers . . . I'm working on the exercise machine, lol):

It's been a finders frenzy lately. Great catch.

Many of those types of cases were purchased from surplus shops. The military uses all sizes and shapes of that type of case for delicate equipment. Many are foam lined or have inserts to isolate the equipment. They come in different colors but most used by the military are either gray, black or white.
