Enterprise from Catspaw

Mine arrived. Relieved to have no specks or bubbles and no skewed nacelles. It is tilted up a bit but I guess all/most are like that. There is a second pour line.... has anyone received one without one?

But it doesn't hang straight. The chain is not at the center of gravity. (Which is probably why they're all tilted to begin with.) There goes that display option I was considering.

Do others have that problem with the chain. Will have to check.
Edit: mine is pitch up, so no displaying that way.

Well the chain is not in the center on the original prop. I think it had the same problem. As for displaying it,.. just going to keep it box open. Probably put it out for Halloween near some orange lights. :)

A little off topic but is there any additional info on the uncased prop, just know that it was used in the episode Doomsday Machine for the shots of the ship being pulled into the maw.

And Kirk put the ship in his pocket, found a shuttlecraft, and returned to earth the sole survivor of the Enterprise. He spent the rest of his days in retirement at his cabin, happy that the ship he loved was now his forever, encased in lexan and safe from all harm. :p
Actually he has been seen recently in a commercial promoting a Law Firm in Columbus Ohio.

Original screen used image top and my FE bottom. I guess I got lucky and am satisfied for the price.
You almost got the picture correct. Angle it down a bit and move the Lucite prop just a bit to the left and up and make it a tiny bit more level. the phaser is at the wrong angle as well. ;)...other then then that....AWESOME...

The Factory Entertainment lucite-encased Enterprise is truly incredible, and the perfect addition to my "Catspaw" props collection. A friend encased a Rylo version (slightly smaller) several years ago -- which has started to yellow just like the original in the Smithsonian. SDStudios has a few of the "Sylvia and Korab" dioramas left, and another prop friend fabricated amazing Transmuter crystal replicas a few years ago. I don't much care for this TOS episode, but the props of "Catspaw" are amazing!
trekkerguy is that a Steelman Inspection Light?
