hello everybody,
I'm new here however I have a few things I would really like to share. I have seen dozens of people make potion jar props and decorations however the bottles and jars are never screen accurate. I have however managed to locate several amazing screen accurate jars and I have made this thread to share them and where to find them if anybody is interested. if anybody is reading this thank you for taking the time to do so

I would love to see some pictures of your bottles because I'm intrigued! The first bottles I got are the ones from Slugorns "apothecariam" these bottles can be seen in Slughorns trunk in HBP movie as well as in many promotional photos. You can also see them at the studio tour in London in the graphic arts section. I am yet to find the taller bottles but I'm pretty certain that I have found a match to the smaller bottle (minus the stopper). You can get these bottles at world of bottles.com

Hello everybody, thank you for your interest. I think I may have found another bottle. This particular bottle is unfortunately difficult to find. I have searched for years for this one. You can see these bottles in the potions classroom in the first and fifth film as well as in Snapes office in the second film and Snapes stockroom in the fourth film. These bottles also appear in the room of requirement in deathly hallows part two. I also believe the same bottles can be seen in the slug and jiggers apothecary shop window at the studio tour as well as at the Orlando theme park. I have no idea what company made these bottles or where they come from however I was lucky enough to find one by chance in a local antique shop for a couple of dollars. I have also found a listing for one on eBay which I will include a link for. if anybody knows anything about these bottles it would be great if you could share. www.ebay.com

are you referring to the Slug horn bottle? because if so yes. the screen used bottle has some small numbers embossed near the base which indicate the bottle is indeed 200mls

unfortunately I do not have a reference however I'm 99% sure its the correct size. as far as I know that is the only size that those bottles were made in. they look smaller on screen than they do in reality. the ones at the studio tour and at Orlando seem about that size as well

haha yes I noticed that too. I'm not sure why that's there. I checked all of IKEA current stock as well as their discontinued stock and I have not found a match. somebody probably stuck it on it at some point to emphasize the "handmade quality"
