Thank you capnstunn18, most of what is available in NZ is mostly rubbish spray cans that make claims of really good quality but not delivering, might have to get something sent over if possible from outside NZ.

Just dont do the Alsa Chrome(easy chrome). Its the video on Facebook where a guy brushes the paint on and it becomes chrome. That ain't true whatsoever. And ya, theres not really a vacuum metalizer in CO area either, I'm most likely sending mine off to Mueller Corp located in Massachusetts. Which will take 1 week to ship. 2 weeks to chrome, another to ship back. And that's if they're not super busy or anything.
Which is the reason my stress level is high due to being told my unfinished upper half(all I ordered) will be done in this time and now I'm this place on the list. Thankfully Dustin is next door and let me borrow his stuff so I can size my lower half and have it ready to go and hell maybe sent out to chrome before my upper comes.

Just praying it all starts to pump out of the MIMIC factory soon and his family is good.

Thanks for the heads up on the alsa chrome, that was the next possibility, must have used some good special effects for that video.

Any pictures yet on the second half? Still have not seen anything on the second half. 6 months ago you said you were going to start sending it out. Unfortunately, there is not much I can do with half of the armor.

Yes, I’ll be putting some photos up this week of the new arms, and the hands. I haven’t de-moulded them yet but the first ones are laid up !! I’m very excited to see the arms against the rest of the armor- it’ll feel good to get a good step closer to completion

I just received the first half of the armor on Monday, just wanted to post and say that I got it. Looks amazing, and I'm anxious to get the second half.


The armor did have a tiny hairline scratch on the shoulder (which honestly could have been me I didn't see it right away) and the top Velcro pieces do not want to stay attached to the yoke (if you have any tips let me know). Otherwise really excited about it.

I bought some Star Wars fabric from Joanne Fabric, was going to use it to wrap up the armor inside the crate. Any reason to not use colored fabric to wrap up the armor? Its gray and black, and doesn't look like the type of fabric that would bleed at all.

Get some N52 magnets. Thatll hold it for ya.

Crookknight apologies, no problems - Ive demoulded them, casts look great - very happy with them- theyre pretty much trimmed - will give them a quick buff up and take some photos over the weekend.

sorry I have not really been on here much recently due to obvious things- I went to see sis which is obviously in spain- all very surreal to be honest- but will get back to PM's pretty quickly usually.

Also got the fronts of the legs cast up so I'll post the next of those soon.

However, I just get nervous when a couple of weeks go by and people are asking for updates, and there is no response. Many of us are just asking for pictures (they do not have to be perfect).
