Hey guys, it's been a while! So I've been making replicas for a long time, mainly Ghostbuster Proton packs out of aluminum and Jurassic Park canes, but I'm ready to venture out in to full blown costumes. I decided I wanted to try and make a dead-on "Holiday Armadillo" from the show "Friends"

I think it looks pretty doing, but having a background in metal working and electronics doesn't help me too much with this build.
If anyone has any suggestions on the best method to build the shell, but I'm assuming is some sort of foam, and the other parts, I'd greatly appreciate it. Also, any resources for newbs looking to learn about foam sculpting at that scale and glueing, finishing, etc. would be greatly appreciated.
I was thinking about sculpting and casting the head piece, the snout, and the legs, but if anyone could name what processes they'd use, I'll dig deep in to researching them.
Thanks in advance!
