Had trouble with thin runny silicone working it's way under the edges of the paper. Actually have to rebuild the engine because of this... Tried to do the tail using a much thicker batch.
Thicker silicone definitely works better, but it still worked it's way under some of the edges of the paper. You can see the original suffered some damage when it was removed and the cast has slight damage anywhere a paper edge meets another. Still I could probably hide it as battle damage or something.
Before I do the other parts I am going to go back and try my best to seal them up...
