First post - I LOVE the information/community on this site.
I'm working on one of my first builds and I made my helmet and face shield from a PEP file (way too many seams for a helmet imo) Lesson 1 Learned..
I tried to make clean cuts, apply barge well, and afterwards I applied a few layers of flexible acrylic caulking to smooth out the seams. 2-3 layers of plastic dip 2-3 coats of paint.
The lines are still showing through and I don't feel as proud as I had hoped after feeling like I read/prepped well. (I should've filled the gaps even more and sanded more looking back)
Both pieces are now painted. Is there anything I can do at this point to make the gaps less visible?
Thanks for any advice!
