thanks mate,yes i used fiberglass matt.and used Vaseline on the joint to release the two halves.also silicone oil on the sculpt to get that out of the mold.

for me there are two important parts to get spot on.1st is the resin beauty coats on the sculpt.no air bubbles and brush on to get all places covered.3 or 4 coats.
2nd is the first fiberglass lay is important not to get any air bubbles in it.after that its not to important.

hahaha come over and make one mate lol.hope to get one soon but the winter is coming quick and its hard to get the latex to cure in winter time.so might have to leave until summer.

Man I don't know how I missed this sculpt. Excellent work. I was wondering also how the heck you got the clay out of the mandible part of the mold.

many thanks mate.i used a round wire tool on a stick to pull the Plasticine from the mandibles. not to hard and did not want seams on them so did it this way.the latex will just pull out when cured so i hope,fingers crossed lol.just wish i could get a copy for november show here in UK.
