That is utterly amazing man.
I have been thinking of something I wanted to try as a first build and Serenity crossed my mind. But I brushed off the idea because, it just looked way to complex for me. Maybe one day.

Anyway, the painting is done, I'll post pictures once I've finished the rest. There's not much left to do.
For windows I'll cut pieces of clear plastic to get that glassy look and I'll spraypaint the back side. I was thinking black at first for the windows, but now I'm not so sure as it may stand out too much. I made one black and one dark grey sample (see attachments). Other options are also silver (too similar to hull color) and dark blue or dark blue+black (hard to make believable?). Any input from people with experience would be appreciated.

It's done!
Today I finished my Serenity after a year of building and a week of finishing.
I put the windows in and it looks great. I have just a couple of shots to show, I want to do a real photoshoot outside in the sun, but it's raining now so I'll have to wait a few days.

How did you do the detail paper/plastic work on the outside? I looked through the file you linked to and it is really just the base. Did you do it all by eye? If so, amazing.
