Firefly - Mal's Crate

Here's my take on a box you might find in Mal's room. It's a rations crate from the war, filled with all his personal stuff. (Including a picture of his mom. Awwwwww....)

GDafi - it represents a few years of work on a variety of projects. It's most of the Firefly stuff I've done (some wasn't appropiate for the crate - like ship control screens or the Blue Hands' picture of River - and some wouldn't fit - like the poster-sized version of the verse map).

The only peice that I didn't do is the gun - I bought that already finished from a person in the UK. And you can't see the Inara panties. They're stuffed in the barrel of the gun.

Here's a larger pic of my "map o' the verse", along with the original that was shipped with the Fox press kit and a shot of it being used in the show ("Safe"). I rebuilt it from scratch at poster size. It was obviously not intended for up-close scrutiny as all the text is from astronomy textbooks. I kept the color & line count the same but swapped in verse-sounding text, and added all the planets from the RPG book...
