Fire Spray 31 patrol and attack craft from Oovo IV prison

I made the front hood piece permanent.......

i had a bad clear part I trimmed to test fit it fits really good...
the canopy in the last post was not trimmed for the outer
dims it was just fitted on the inside.

Love the now hollowed hull mate, will make it pop way more layering it up in the skirt, have some fun with it!

I've just found this thread and it is absolutely stunning. It was a ***** building the model, but scratch building this is true art sir. Outstanding is all I can say

"I never worked day in my life, I just lay back and let the big beat lead me."

Thanks Bro you have lyrics from the JB'S for your
Sig so you all right!!! LOL:thumbsup

Well what fits before you trim it is obviously a different
story? LMAO Anyway the annoyance factor of this model
is high like ragweed in the summer!:facepalm

So it fits nice at the sides and front, but the it doesn't
taper up enough at the back so I have to add some clay
to the pattern.

I was looking last night to try to find which album
those lyrics came out of was it "Straight out the Jungle or
"Done by the forces of nature" and which track was it?
I could here the joint in my mind but couldn't find the
track!!!! :(

Called "because I got it like that", off straight out the jungle. Got into it because fatboy slim had a pitched up version on the the first big beat boutique. Still playing it regularly at gigs. Play it at plus 8 though :)

I knew you are the master of vacu foaming but I've never seen such clear canopy before.
You build the models on a higher dimention.

Totally hats off.

Katsu you the man.....but I can't be bothered with this thing any more
so I went out and bought certified one! LMAO I have it parked up now
until I get the tags for it! LOL

The back of the canopy is not high enough, so I decided to
pull one in plastic and just graph it in there, then fill over it
with clay and get it all smoothed out. Then I can prime it and
check it when it looks good, I can form a clear one lay it on
top mark it out, then cut it out and pop the new clear piece
in.

Canopy sitting low in the back...

also filled some gaps along the way where
the fenders met the skirts.

When It's all smoothed out I can just use the clear
part as a template and make the cut out to fit it
in the fuselage.

Ok I am trying this again......

Trimmed that much off after nooking at the kit.

Not the canopy I am going to use I have to make another one,
that fits the new cut out.

Looks sweet Mike, but i have to ask, 22 pages and then a thread moved, somebody got there girl pants in a knot huh lol, ill continue to watch here in general bro!

This build is just awesome and inspiring. At least now, I know who to blame for when I start dumping down the money when I build my vacuum form platen.
