the head is just a sculpt head from monstermakers.com its dense foam and a decent base to sculpt from cause its close to my head..haha

Gonna try and have a pull tonight finishing the mold rigid shell then I can demold and make a copy. a finished mask will be done next week.

So sub zero is finished let me know what you all think? im not to sure on the color I think it might be to blue but im not sure maybe more of an aqua ish? I am going to take a break to work on a different mask but will come back to this afterwards. any other characters that people would lik,e to see?

I do think Sub-Zero's mask/costume was more aqua, yes, but I am totally loving the shade of blue you picked for it. What do you use to paint your masks?

Thanks guys and for being the third mask iv sculpted too. i might try a different blue but im using acrylic paint from Michael's then airbrushing it on.

Yea I have made all the molds and castings myself im going to be doing a latex mask and plaster mold for my next mask. which I have never done before so its def a learning project lol

Looking forward to seeing how the latex mask comes out. I've been commissioned to do a MK mask and am considering doing it in latex.

I like the gold coloration on the scorpion mask, the light plays with the contours quite well. It lacks something of the organic feel the in game mask had, but yours gives a distinctly more ornamental feel, which is in no way bad.

Nice job all around.

I tried for a scorpion shell kinda feel on the arms but also that hand made feel to it. The color for sub zero is going to be more auqua and the mesh is secured from the inside of the mask you do breath nicely tho lol
