Finally... My AVP PVC Suit (Inspired by Diavolo B.)

Well everyone, I have finally completed the suit. I started it two years ago and the reason it took sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo long is that about a year ago I lost interest! But now I am back with a fury for anything Pred related. So please let me know what you think. All of the armor was scratch built from PVC I crafted from 5 gallon PVC buckets. The gauntlets are scratch built and light up, the under mask is one of 3 that can be worn with the suit, I have an animatronic Murphy P1 (pictured) animatronic Mander AVP and P1 masks. The cannon is scratchbuilt and rotates 180 degrees either via remote located in the left gauntlet or automatically via an automatic setting. The bio is attached via magnets, so it clips on or off. I strategically hid/embedded micro amplified speakers into the costume and linked them to a tiny mp3 player so he clicks continuously via a looped mp3 I created. The bodysuit was created by plastadipping an entire strongman's fibre-filled muscle suit and then airbrushing it umteen times. The Plastadip was amazing and inexpensive and dried superfast and gave a skin like appearance/texture. The gauntlet blades were cut from Lexan.

Very nice!!! Looks like he's certainly been through more than a few heavy hunts & battles! Great job!

great suit man looks like haloween turned out great for you.
I think the suit looks better with the mask because with all that upper body armor it just fits in nice , heavy tech pred style.
Do you mind telling me what you cut the pvc buckets with?
Overall a great costume worth a round of applause !

Thanks for the kind words Guys, to answer your question Dark Hunter, I initially used heavy duty cutting discs on my Dremel, then I later found it so much easier to use the Mini-Saw attachment. It's about $30.00 US but well worth the price. with it I could render a bucket into a useable PVC sheet in about 2 minutes.

Suit looks great. Theres a little something on the bio right there....no a little to the left...right over

Two years or not, that suit is pretty awesome. With all the extras, I would love to see it in action!

So you coated the body suit in plasti-dip before painting? How did it hold up after suiting up? Just curious, I'm looking for alternative ways from coating with latex...

I like your custom designed gaunts and I see your using Morris P1 hands.

M.I. Thanks for the compliment! The hands look like the Morris hands but actually they are Demon Biker hands I picked up for less then $10.00 at a Party Supermarket. Originally they were whitish blue. They are cast thick, look and feel great!
