Thanks man... The brow looks like the real deal, and the feel is nearly there too.

Here is a pic of me wearing the helmet. :)

Decided to throw in one more pic.

Here is a comparison pic of my Styrene TE helmet and my Fiberglass TE helmet.

From the looks of it, they appear to be the same size.

Fiberglass TE on left, Styrene TE on right...

You have done really well there. The finishing job looks excellent. Ignore the jibes about what material it's made from - it's a really interesting lid.

Most people would give their right arm for a lid that was scanned from an original.

That line across the top of the cap bugs me.
[/b]

I had a similar problem with a Fett bucket that had no visible line but something about the surface over the top of the lid where the molds joined caused a shadow and highlight effect and made the line noticable. I just sanded the entire area to get rid of it and level out the top. That seemed to work. I dont think its as noticable in person as it would be in pictures though. Thats a killer looking helmet. I'm dying to get one.

Gizmo...

Here are a couple of pics of the underside. The straps are out currently and the foam isn't glued into the helmet (the size of this foam works great for me, so I will most likely glue mine in).

Hope this works for you. :)

Good cripes, that looks painful to wear. What's with the bolts on the side of the ears?

The bolts actually don't come anywhere close to the head at all. I have the same setup on my styrene TE helmet.

There is always the option of cutting them off if you need to.

Thanks Jorufett. :D It looks beutiful. That bottom trim looks dead accurate too. :thumbsup
When I get mine I will post heaps of pics too.

By the way our helmets are brothers :D coool hey.

Also that fibreglass looks nice and thick and strong.Thats great to see.

My TE bumpy cap/back styrene also has bolts like these and they don`t touch my
head at all.Quite comfotable actually.Here`s a pic.

Hey Jorus, can I ask where you bought the neck trim from? I'm looking for some, for another helmet :)

The neck trim came with the helmet, so I am unsure of where it was purchased.

Who cares what it looks like inside when it looks this perfect on
the outside. Here`s a pic before its been painted. How is this slapshod?

Yeah? Let me know how those scrapes on your forhead and cheeks heal after you get the fibers out of them. :lol

Bad jokes aside, I admit the helmet's outer finish does look great. It's probably just shadows from the flash.
