Hey everyone,
been awhile since ive come around.been super busy and not done alot of pred stuff.been poppin in and out of the forum to check things out.

After a few years of putting it off ive finally filmed most of a little fanfilm i put together.
basically its about an ewok on endor and a "visitor" that lands there shortly after the second deathstar was destroyed.

I wanted to do something fun and not worry about all the money and stress usually associated with these films.
basically, ive shot it all on a 100 buck digital camcorder in the woods behind my house.
so far the results are great and i cant wait to show it to people to enjoy.sure it could e better but hey, with no budget this is what you get B)

ill let you guys know when its available, good to be back on the lair. :p '

Oooooooooh!!!

"Annoying Alien" VS Predator!!!!!

Jar Jar: "Meeeesa being in deep Batha poodoo now!!!"

Predator: "Bomb-bad!!!...."(Loud explosion as Gungan parts go flying in all directions)

a predator vs an ewok??? Should there even be a "VS" in there?...i mean it's not really a challenge for a hunter to take one of these out other than he might need a new skull for his belt.

I would imagine it's like me poping few a tic tacs

good to see your still suiting up skip...

Great balls of plasma! Can't you just see the fur catch fire, then turn into an undulating bright orange glow to the sound of sizzling flesh and high pitched screams from the little rodent! Yeah, baby!

A few critiques from someone who's done a few of these:
#1. The film could've been a little shorter by editing out all but the absolutely necessary shots of the ewok running, especially the over-use of the legs only shots.
#2. Don't use merry-go-round shots of your characters for more than a couple of revolutions, and slow ones at that. What you had of the predator was disorienting
rather than an in depth view of him.
#3. Don't use dissolves to edit together shots that are occurring at the same time. The standard convention on these kinds of edits is to show the passage of time between scenes.

The pred look good. Liked the cloaked firing from the trees. The spaceship at the beginning looked good too. The ewok?? Man, that was one scary looking little rodent. He looked like a slightly mummified Dawn-of-the-Dead ewok! :)
Do another one soon.

Wow
I don't know whether to be more surprised that someone made a movie about an ewok or that the furball beat a predator.

Not bad, but the ewok was too tall.

too tall?

my youngest daughter wore the suit and shes barely even 4 feet tall.if you look at the last scene with the helmets youll notice her size compared to the trooper helmets.interesting observation.

this was done for fun, wanted to do it and just did it.
we spent no money on it,other than 5 bucks for fireworks.so basically a zero budget deal.
some of the shots werent exactly what i had envisioned, but my son who is 12 did most of the shooting while i was in the predator.it was 100 degress here that weekend and i almost passed out.it took over an hour out in the heat to get those shots.he did the best he could.
i actually had more running around and chasing planned but just couldnt film anymore so i stopped.

Well, she's about waist-high and most of the ewoks were mid-thigh. That's why I thought of it.

Very nice otherwise. She played a good ewok.

Great job Skip. Always been a big fan of your work. I love it when people can actually have fun with what they like to do. I've been real busy with the new job but I'm going to try and make the parades again this year. Tony
