Fallout Raider - Painspike Armor (WIP)

Wow. The complete costume looks great! That's one of my favorite raider armors...it's so ridiculous. You stuck so close to the original design but the parts you changed look awesome too! More spikes is always better haha. From my experience soft foam spikes don't tend to stay on too well so you lucked out there!

Thanks! The spikes are silicone caulk, so they're actually really durable. They're just super glued on, though, so if hit hard enough they'll come off. I may have yelled at a few people who weren't paying attention and about ran into me...

That's a shame you're going to retire this costume after so much work on it.

Yeah, it really is, but ah well. I'm sure it may come out again in the future, especially if we can find a good place for a post-apocalyptic photoshoot or a better con environment.

That looks great! You could even turn that into several costumes. There's a shopping mall (I think that's what it was) where the Raiders get some Enclave armor and they all have different parts on.

haha, yeah, I've thought about mixing and matching a bit to make it less awkward to wear.
