Yeah but it's just easier to get a ipod than anything else at this point lol. I have no smart phones as i have no real use for them so an mp3 player is probably more useful.

Well then, I congratulate you. Some days I wish that I wasn't almost physically tethered to my phone. How does it feel to be free?

You should be able to get something pretty decent for a good price used.

That's the problem, i still keep my normal phone next to me just in case as my friend likes to text me when she's on lunch lol. I'd never get anything done if i had a smart phone. Amazon just texted me telling me to preorder Fallout 4 to get the free poster that gamestop has been offering for a while now, I'm assuming the posters are going to come with the pipboy versions since they were all preorders. Not like i have space for anything on the walls.

I'm hoping Steam unlocks the game for pre-load before the launch date.

Fallout Shelter is a fun little diversion, and Bethesda made good on their promise to offer the game without any obtruisve ads or paywalls.

It's from the Quake Con footage.

Really? Oh, good. They released the footage. I thought the only place to see that was still at pornhub.

Also, after being informed that 'some' tasks are done when you're not around in Fallout Shelter, I decided to give it another look. It's something I check daily now. I found it interesting why this game worked the way it did and it wasn't until Extra Credit pointed out what it was. It wasn't so much the lack of Paywalls or the awesome aesthetics that keep me from coming back. It was how the game has no online competitiveness with other users. When you're dealing with a system like that, you almost have to pay through paywalls because when players attack you, you lose resources, you lose time and you lose progress. I quit playing Star Wars Force Commander for this very reason. No matter how much I work on defenses, I'm always attacked by players back to back and I lose everything. EVERYTHING. The only practical way to get resources is to buy protection. Seriously.

What makes Fallout Shelter cool is that all the things it throws at you are things you can be better prepared for, even after suffering a harsh attack. I actually learned how to kill the Deathclaws before they can even make it to the second floor. Make a 3 tiled room filled with your maxed out and most armed dwellers, have only one elevator from 1st to 2nd and next to the vault door, and the Death Claw will be forced to go through the heavily fortified room TWICE before it makes it's descent through the elevator. The only issue is being able to click the darn dwellers in order to heal them. Sometimes the game is a wee bit unresponsive.

The final entry of the series, and it's too true for words. Special appearance by a Fallout regular!

Their ads are always good because you can rarely tell the cgi stuff from the live action like in that one.

Weird question:

Im making something for the guys at Bethesda, and i would love to send it to those guys that worked on the game. Do I send it to HQ or someplace else?

Thanks,

Fallout 4 is complete, all 27 versions of it. I hope you like it. We've worked hard on it.

Can we get our copies autographed? lol. Actually that would probably sell well: a limited edition version autographed by some of the staff. I with the bethesda store would stop tempting me with daily emails of fallout 4 stuff for sale lol. I'm already out of room for displays after the pipboy edition shows up.

Haha sorry, it would be a tall order to say yes and fulfill that for everyone..so I'm gonna have to say no. Signed in spirit though.

I needed to make a better master for my mini-nuke. In one preview it looked a little different than the Fallout 3 version. I may wait until I finish the game. Plus I can wear my pipboy while I work on it.

Yeah I don't have wifi but i'm still going to get something to put in the pipboy. I wish i hadn't sold my F3 version, the set is like 300.00 on amazon now new.

I'm ready for it. I've been playing NV with my nephew, his first time. I'm about having a heart attack trying to keep him from killing everyone and focusing on the missions! :lol Yeah it's a sandbox game, but hit literally tries to shoot everyone to try out the guns. On top of that he's playing on 360 so it's buggy as heck and I can't aim with the controller. I don't know how anyone plays a FPS game with a controller, it's not normal. ;)

Yeah New Vegas on my ps3 is buggy too and i think my ps3 controller is going bad as soon as i load a fallout game it auto aims to the right for about 10 minutes then is okay lol.

Well they released approximately 30 seconds of it anyway. The full demo from Quake Con has never been officially released and probably never will be, given that we're only a little over two weeks from the release date. Seems moot at this point.

The entire Fallout Franchise (with the exception of 4) is on sale on Steam right now, btw.
