Fallout 4

I'm just not a fan of steam which is why i get all the games I back on kickstarter from gog.com, actually they gave me the first few fallouts free when I signed up. Yeah Bethesda crushed fallout online when they bought the rights so I'm betting they're reworking it just like they've been using parts of the original Fallout 3 for New Vegas and other games in the series. I kind of wish they'd sell the mininuke and sleeves empty so we could use them for our console versions too. It'd save a ton of space. I kinda want to make a display box for this thing since the plastic is flimsy but i also hate ruining a mint item lol

New Vegas was made by Obsidian, Bethesda hasen't made a Fallout game since 2008.

If any plans for Fallout Online exist it will probably be developed as a seperate entity by ZeniMax Online, just as TES Online was.

Bethesda works within the Zenimax umbrella. They'll have people supporting all their projects. I'm sure Fallout isn't the only focus.

I bet they already got another Elder Scrolls in the pipeline. Hopefully if they do a fallout online it won't be a year long beta test like Destiny lol. Honestly I'd give Obsidian another try with a fallout game since some of those guys were around for the first 2. I just wish they hadn't changed some stuff from the originals, the dark humor isn't as strong now. I'm waiting for wasteland 2 to hit on the ps4 this month. I find it funny that the grandad of Fallout made a return after all these years. Goes to show everyone loves the apocalypse.

No, they're working on the DLC for the game and support for other ongoing games and last minute pre-release checks more likely. Fallout online isn't going to happen because they're still working on DLC for Tamriel Unlimited. This will probably lead to another massive expansion to come. Obsidian is out of the picture, no talks will have taken place and both parties have ostensibly moved on to other things in their pipelines.

Having just released Skyrim 4 years ago I think it's clear that the Fallout franchise isn't their only focus, but i'm not sure what your point is...

Until the annoucement (and corresponding release) of Fallout 4 and the Fallout Shelter mobile game in 2015, Bethesda Game Studios (the in-house development extension of Bethesda Softworks) had not announced any active projects within the Fallout franchise since 2008, which is part of what makes the release of Fallout 4 more exciting as i've always felt that 3 was better than New Vegas.

TES Online was developed by ZeniMax Online, an entirely seperate studio despite being a subsidiary of the same company. They employ different staff and TES Online presents a very different art direction than that of Skyrim, it's not as though everyone swaps jobs. They are seperate entities within the same corporate umbrella.

Interplay is still working on Project V13 (last I heard, anyway) which was the in-house name for their cancelled Fallout Online project, I don't know how much of the original staff remains at that studio but it might be something to look out for if you want a game that's closer to the original isometric Fallout games. Aside from Wasteland 2, that is.

I didn't know that project was still going. Shame of it is I'm not sure how many folks at Interplay now were connected to the original fallout. Most of them went to Obsidian and Inxile.

I love that print, the bethesda store hits me with so many emails it's insane. I really wish i'd preordered my pipboy edition with gamestop and not amazon given all the trouble i'm having with amazon. They're taking a week to ship items i paid shipping for lately.

Speaking of countdowns, here's what I have on my watch (moto 360)

Ever since they announced their presentation at E3, I had it counting down because I knew it would be F4. Then I emediately changed it to Nov 10.

I saw folks complaining that the graphics were the same as New vegas, i want to know what the hell they're smoking as these things look way better. They claimed they weren't "next gen" graphics. Makes me think streamers have their heads up their backends and made me reconsider watching funhaus on youtube as they come off as snobs.

I agree with you, I'm sure they will look much better and the experience will be much more submursive once you're in control and are able to explore the scenery

Just look at the little stream and the first bit that they show the character running through.

I think it'll look amazing.

Fallout new Vegas and fallout 3 were so grainy.. this looks to me like there won't be any jaggies
