Fallout 3 T-45d power armor (Foam WIP)

Realized I never updated this thread with full suit up pics of the new helmet. Here you go.

Making a laser gatling to go with it(fallout 4 version cuz it looks better and more accurate imo). Found a 3d model online and disected it in blender to make unfolding easier. Now just to consolidate the pieces for foam and start cutting.
The handle in the picture probably is the only piece that will be somewhat difficult, but the gun looks surprisingly friendly for foam otherwise.

Probably make the files and PDFs templates available for free once I'm done constructing it.

Thank you! More foam is coming in today and my contact cement early next week. So I am excited to start working on that instead of filling all my seams like I have been the last couple days...

Looks like I forgot to update this thread.. so summarize.
I constructed the boots and added tread details. I Kwik sealed all my seams, and I weathered all of the armor with small scratches and ricochets.
currently I am in the process of leak sealing all of the armor to get it ready for paint.

The chonk has come to life!! here take a look at all the pictures. super pleased with how it looks all sealed up. Next step is to wet sand it all down a little smoother before I hit it with paint.
gotta add padding to the helmet correctly and probably fix the belt length.

Colors applied! next up is weathering
base coat: soft flat iron spray paint
accent red: cherry red rustoleum. I used the spray paint and sponge method to get the chipping/splotchy affect on the accent colors

Thank you! however it is not "unique" since i did it from the in game reference of the brotherhood outcasts group from fallout 3 lol.
heres some suit up pics. still needs weathering and a few additives on the helmet.

Edge weathering is done, black wash is done, rubber hoses on helmet installed, lamp cover created. Neck seal created and working, all thats left is a little rust paint job and we can Call it done. that and wire in an LED for the helmet

Looks great. It might help to weather the inner black suit a bit so it looks like it was worn with the armor instead of under it.

Power armor is all done! Went out in the cold to get a fun photoshoot done on the frozen lake (Devils lake state park)
