Fabric On Demand... how nice are their prints?

For those who have used fabricondemand.com to order prints for costumes, I would like to hear your opinions on their quality.

I am considering having a rather detailed Amazing Spider-Man file printed by them, so I'd appreciate any and all reviews of their work.

Thanks!

They definitely do a passable job and I can't really complain but I'm looking for a new place that holds the color a little better while fully stretching. I just got my scuba Steve print back from them that I can post pictures of tomorrow if you want.

Honestly I wouldn't suggest that you go to anyone other than Fabric on demand because Fabric on Demand is experienced with these types of prints. This is because members off of here use them on a daily basis. I've called dozens of places and they have never done anything like what you would be asking for. So defiantly keep them on the top of your list. Also if you look through one or two of my threads you can see the print they did for me.

I hope not since Sonjou did a good job sizing mine. I think it's very important to make sure it is sized correctly or else you will run into that problem but I'll let you know or you'll see it when it is sewn.

I have the same comment with Fabric On Demand. The colors do fade when the fabric is stretched significantly. I have not sewn my suit from Sonjou yet however I'm extremely happy with what I got. I've had nothing but good experience with them. All the tiny details showed up on the print real well.

One of the best things about getting your stuff printed from them is the convenience. They're quick to respond and ship on time.

Thanks again to the great members of RPF for their reviews!

Would any of you be willing to send me a private message to give me an idea of what Fabric on Demand charges for a Spider-Man print to be printed?

PeterParker, I think you can actually just "order" through their website for the appropriate number of yards of fabric and it should tell you the price instantly.

...no need to actually order anything, jus empty your shopping cart when you're done.

The whole " fading when stretched thing " is mostly dye to the fact
You're printing on white fabric. So it's gonna happen anywhere you do
It if your using white, thats why the movie suits were printed on a salmon like pink and a sky blue fabric, so the fade is barely noticeable

I plan on trying to have my green lantern printed on green myself to combat this. Sadly with 2 tone or more prints , unless you seperated the colors, white fabric would be your best option.

I don't know how you got your fabric so quick cause i AM still waiting for mine. it has been over 3 weeks since i placed my order. i think i am going back to Spoonflower cause they are better and fabric don't fade. and i can get my fabric within 5 day after i order it. there is no 10 day waiting period like it is with Fabric on demand.
