I took a few pics recently and after a little photoshop work, here it is.
My ESB stormtrooper replica blaster quest is over as I now own both versions,
stunt and hero :)

I built this blaster with the followings parts and features:
parts_2.jpg
hdpemagcut.jpg

-Authentic Sterling SMG.
-Authentic Sterling magazine.
-Authentic M19 telescope.(pristine condition)
-Authentic M19 scope bolts.
-Found item: T-tracks.
-Wider scope rail, as seen in TESB and different from ANH versions.
-Two tone paint job on t-tracks and scope rail.

looks great, but is the scope rail really wider? The movie pic seems stretched making the rail look wider and the rail looks like it buts into the rear site not overlap it? I'm not nit-picking, just curious. Its really a beautiful blaster and you should send it to me... :)

Looks good man. It's always cool to see 'authentic parts' replicas.

Where'd you get the stand?

I have to agree. That movie reference shot is really stretched out - so much that the scope looks oval.
Any better reference for a wide rail?

Yes sorry about that I suck at photoshop. .

On most reference I have, the scope rail looks slightly wider and different from Luke's hero blaster in ANH ......

It looks like they widened it to about the outside width of the rear site (unlike the ANH rails which fit on the inside of the rear site). Looks nice and fits the scope better.
Nice job.

Thank you :)

Thanks all for the kind words,

The stand(s) came from an airsoft retailer who's shop was closing so I managed to pick up quite a few of them, they are perfect for Sterlings, all I'll have to do is print the pics et voila

Wow, nice work Anthony... looks like you put a lot of work into that blaster :thumbsup Glad that the ESB Stunt has some company on the shelf ;)

What movie-still / screencap was this cropped from? ....doesn't look familiar to me?

Cheers,
John

BTW mate, I'd like to take the time to publicly thank you for making castings of your awesome blaster
available and my shelf crowded with stuff ' I most certainly need' :love

Cheers.

Thanks for the kind words guys :)

I'm still very 'niob' to all this, but I'm enjoying the research and doing my best to go the authentic route.

Cheers.

Thank you :)

May I ask, how wide did you make your scope rail?[/b]

My scope rail is aproximately the same width as the outside of the rear site of the Sterling, slightly wider:
1.8 cm / 0.71 inch... IIRC.
