I didn't notice this for YEARS! But now I can't unsee it. But yeah, they made the carbonite prop before they had sorted out Han's ESB costume. The amazing "Empire Strikes Back Revisited" actually fixes this: First Completed Shot of Han in Carbonite

I would look up “how to embroider” on YouTube and see if it’s something you think you could do. From what I understand, it’s a fairly time intensive process. But, you could buy premade embroidered bloodstripes from eBay and see them on, that would be easier.
