Nearly there with the head, a few bits of hassle to get it where it is but still really chuffed with it.

Looks awesome, dude.

On a side notice .. Guys .. another run will become reality .... It'll just take some time ... my mascinist-friend has to redraw Quincys drawings into 3d, and propably has to recalculate all Allen wrench-sizes into metric standards, instead of imperial .... so at the moment it's pretty hard for him to calculate a pricerange ...

--but it will happen!

A bit off topic but could anyone with a 1/12 BT44B kit ket me know which part has the raised wording on that says Tamiya BT44B? I've seen it in ref but cant see it on any of the scans and sadly dont have the kit myself? Could it be a vintage tooling thing?

The only raised 'Brabham BT44B' lettering I know of is the back side of each tree where the reference designator is on (c, e, a sprue). Haven't noticed a part with this lettering.

Guy thats just the copyright on the inside of the main upper monocoque used for the S1 wings.
Ive got two vintage, and its present, but i cant check a re re as Rich kept hold of mine, i think he had already cut it when he was on the Slave.

Ahh that explains it as I only have a more modern version, Still need a second so may try n bag a vintage one. I hope your not having a break from leg action mate? Get the nose to the grind stone :behave

Nice! I like the grinded out look on the dish! Might I request an open viewport or two?

BTW, what was that pic you posted of? S1 wing? I have lousy ref on that ship.

Cheers Joe, It does look good if I do say so myself, very non Canon but extremely good fun to make. I am really going to go to Town on this head regarding damage and extra detail. I'm kinda going for the shot through the front of the face and Brains splatted out the back look. Cant wait to start on the brains!

If anyone has a spare Marder cheek gun part I'd be very happy to take it off your hands, swap, sale or charity will do? :)

Damn, I wish I had silicone and resin...I ran out. I'd make you a copy. But no, sorry, I don't have any extras.

Thanks anyway Joe, I need to get some silicone as I never think to make copies of stuff for myself, still the only one I have is in use so wouldn't want to take it off now its glued. I should be more on the ball though. :eek

I'm planning to do some molding/casting next week. The Marder cheek gun part is on my list. If something comes along sooner, jump on it as I seem to be pushing things down my schedule lately.
