Limited Run Eomer's Sword GUTHWINE replica: carbon steel, brass and leather MAGNOLI

With the new wooden scabbard having been designed, the metal piece at the middle does fit anymore, so these are being remade from scratch. We're still shooting to have all this done later this month. Fingers crossed, everyone!!

Just updated the middle metal part on the scabbard (not much to show there)... and hoping to have these finished and start shipping before the end of January. Fingers crossed!

That's very good news Indy.
I look forward to its arrival at my front door.
Mind you, I would still love to see some pics of the final production version of the sword and scabbard before then.
Would that be possible Indy?

Here is the updated leather-wrapped wooden scabbard!

Wow! They are looking very nice indeed.

Well done to all involved.

Are we still on for January shipping, Indy?

Scabbards are being leather wrapped today. Blades are ready for fitting. A slight delay with the plaques as the weather has been bad so the wood needs more time to dry. It looks like all the plaques should be ready in about 10 days. Then, it'll just be a matter of final assembly and packaging. So, if we're not entirely on track for end of January, it shouldn't be much longer after that...

then how many swords for the 1st run ?
I asked refund last year but I said I would pay again when its gonna be ready to ship.
Any chance I could still get one ?

If we wanted this do we sign up on this thread or need to pre-order on your site? Just asking as I don't know I'm up for starting a collection like this since I'm working on a display of real Civil War swords, but I'm sure others might want the clarification.

Sumrtym at this point you can pre-order whenever you're ready, but we should have plenty of extra made in the first run so those who didn't pre-order can still get one when they start shipping.

By the way, I'd love to see your collection! I've got one Civil War sword myself and wouldn't mind picking your brain about it, if you've go time. Feel free to PM me.
