Here is the latest WOODEN scabbard with leather wrap:

We're tweaking the center piece to fit the new scabbards. And the finish shown on the hardware is the old plating, the final scabbards will have the distressed finish to match the latest hilt update.

We're finishing the final version of the scabbard right now, at which time I'll do an updated photo shoot of the final product.

Not sure of UC's timing, but we're really hoping to have this finished before the end of January. I'll post again once I have confirmation from the factory. Here is the final wall plaque:

Just talked to the factory again and as they were assembling the swords, we realized a lot of imperfections in the blades, so we'll have to remake those. Once these are done (about two weeks), we'll do test fittings on the scabbards and work on finishing those up (another two weeks or so). If everything goes well, we could have a mid-to-late January release.

Hi Indy - can you speak more to the blade imperfections? Is it problems with the visible blade or the tangs? Is it every blade or just a few bad ones? Thankyou

It's just cosmetic problems with the finishing and polishing.
