How hard is this one to attend in comparison to SDCC??

Is this something that sells out or can you just pay and walk in whenever?

There were a couple brief periods during the con last time where the fire marshall refused to let the con admit more people, but it didn't last long. Of course, the organizers are hoping that doesn't happen again because the con is going to have something like triple the floor space for 2013.

I'm going for the 3 days this time around. Last time I didn't have time to see any of the panels. I didn't know it had grown so much just since I last went in '11!

Following the Season 3 premier of The Walking Dead last night, Chandler Riggs (Carl) was announced as ECCC's newest acquisition.

I hope it doesn't turn out to be a Jake Lloyd situation.. Carl's character tends to be so despised, I would hate to see people say mean things to him in real life as a result.

I think they only things that they would say to him is "Why can't you stay with the rest of the group?!?!?!":lol

So, they've just announced a second Walking Dead cast member for the con: Danai, Gurira, aka Michonne, will apparently be attending.

What's the story on the Sci Fi Museum or whatever it's called now? Are there still things like the Spinner on display, and all the prop goodies?

Right now, the SFM has the Icons of Science Fiction exhibit and one about the horror genre. The BSG and Avatar exhibits have packed up and moved on. As cornball as the movie Avatar was, I was kind of sad I didn't get a chance to see the exhibit while it was here. It had one of the lifesized battle suits and everything.

We just moved to the area in August, so I'll be attending for the first time. I'll probably be driving the droid much of the time.

I'll have my red R2 unit, and a number of people will have blue droids. After chatting with the local gang here, it sounds like there will be more droids than ever before.
